Mission:

EMLA INC (European Medical Laser Association, U.S. Foundation) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing science, health, art, and humanitarian service. Under the leadership of Prof. Dana York, DDS, MS, PhD, EMLA bridges the worlds of biomedical research, digital innovation, and cultural enrichment with a mission of healing and unity.

1. Scientific & Medical Innovation
Laser Medicine & Photobiomodulation: Over two decades of clinical research and global leadership in regenerative therapies, low-level laser treatments, and new clinical protocols .

Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare: Organized international conferences and symposia on AI and biotechnology in medicine (2021–2026), fostering global collaboration .

Public Health Research: Projects in PTSD treatment, child protection, diabetes-related oral health, and mercury toxicity.

2. Education & Training
Developed specialized curricula for dental and medical students (including NYU, India, and Europe).

Trains new generations of clinicians and researchers in laser-assisted therapies and AI diagnostics.

Hosts international scientific conferences — including the 5th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Data Science & Biotechnology (ICAIDSB 2026, NYU Dentistry) .

3. Arts & Culture
Sponsors The Illuminated Covenant Project — a transcultural art initiative of monumental reverse-glass paintings with 24K gold and sacred calligraphy.

Organized and supported exhibitions at the Louvre, Paris, Monaco, Cannes, New York, Bucharest, and Jerusalem .

Donated artworks to religious and cultural institutions (e.g., Grand Synagogue of Cannes, Chabad of Cannes, Synagogue of Alpharetta, Georgia) .

4. Humanitarian & Philanthropy
Charity Outreach: Programs supporting Tanzanian orphanages, Romanian children in need, and global humanitarian causes.

Community Engagement: Through Lions Club New York Agape Foundation, EMLA provides local services for immigrant families, veterans, and seniors .

Peace & Interfaith Initiatives: Promotes Tikkun Olam (repair of the world) by fostering dialogue and unity across Jewish, Christian, Muslim, and other communities .

5. Global Vision (2018–2026)
2018–2023: Built a five-year track record of arts programming, global exhibitions, and scientific meetings to qualify for NEA and NIH grants .

2024–2026: Preparing major exhibitions of The Illuminated Covenant, academic publications, and the ICAIDSB 2026 Conference at NYU.

Long-term: Continue merging science, art, and social healing into sustainable, cross-cultural projects worldwide.
